Privacy Policy
Effective 26 October 2026. NullExif is a photo-metadata cleaner for Android published by Loadcircle Ltd (England and Wales). This policy describes the whole of our data practices, because there is almost nothing to describe: the app works entirely on your device.
What the app does
NullExif removes EXIF and other metadata from photos and documents you choose. Files are picked with your device's own file picker and processed locally on your device. The app performs no uploads of your files, ever.
What we collect
- Nothing on our servers. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising networks.
- No personal data leaves your device through the app itself. The app makes no network requests of its own.
Data stored on your device
- Receipts. After a clean, the app keeps a local record (file name, cleaning level, date) so you can see what was done. Free accounts keep the last 10; Pro keeps the full history. This record stays in the app's private storage on your device.
- Cleaned copies. Cleaned files are written to the app's private storage so you can view or share them. Both the receipts and the cleaned copies are erased permanently when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Sharing
A cleaned file leaves your device only when you explicitly share it. Where it goes next is governed by the app or service you share it to.
Permissions
- File access: the app reads only files you pick in the system picker. It does not request broad photo or storage permissions.
- Internet: declared only because the Google Play Billing libraries require it. The app itself makes no network calls; purchases are processed by Google Play.
Purchases
The Pro upgrade (a yearly subscription) is purchased through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy. The app stores only a local note that you hold Pro.
Children
NullExif is a utility intended for adults and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR / EU GDPR you may contact us about any personal data we hold. As described above, we hold none on our side; the data the app keeps is on your device and under your control. Should our practices ever change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
